Tom's Story
Life
Hello All: Just to say Hi and give a quick update (as of December 2007). Went into the Air Force after Graduation. Met my current wife, best friend, room mate, lover in 1973 and married in 1974. Diane and I have three children and 11 Grandchildren. I am currently a GS-15, Program Security Manager, Chief, Security Division working for the Department of Defense. I retired from the AF in 1992 (20 years, 11 days) and then spent 12 years as a self-employed consultant working for the government.
During my military career, I spent 6 years in Europe (3-Italy & 3 Germany) from 1978 to 1984. Retired after working my final 6 years in the Pentagon. My career was very interesting and I can't say much of what I did, or currently do. For those in the know, I am a Senior Security Specialist. Staff (J-3). I currently do "some" time in the Pentagon and was on vacation in Myrtle Beach, doing my favorite past-time, playing Golf (10 Handicap), on September 11.
I put out a "Sunday Funnies" e-mail almost every Sunday to those who would like to receive it. I have an alumni list to which I send. This E-mail consists of stories, jokes, computer information and public service anouncements that come my way during the week. If you would like to get on the list just send me an e-mail. If you then chose to quit, I can do that too.
Lastly, I used to hang out with Dave Brittingham and worked at Firestone........ My favorite teacher was Mr. Rae who taught DE. We had a split period between 2nd and 3rd period and I sat with Dan Whalon in the back of the room and He used to call us the "Peanut" gallery.
