Life
Wow! How to summarize forty years in a few paragraphs. OK - went to UBC and then UCLA (not as a basketball player) - studied economics and then came to Ottawa to join the feds. I worked for Statistics Canada, the National Energy Board and Consumer and Corporate Affairs. I have been married since 1971 to Natalie and we have two daughters, Alison (born 1974) and Paula (born 1976). Paula has produced a grandchild and they live in Toronto (well, actually Vaughan).

tability, which means lots of program evaluation, strategic planning and performance monitoring. That is not always the most exciting thing, but can be challenging. I have been fortunate to work on a variety of Royal Commissions as an advisor and "strategic editor," which means helping to develop the report. I am presently involved in the Air India Inquiry and worked on the 2005-05 Advertising and Sponsorship Inquiry (Gomery Commission). Life goes on. Oh, and I am still overweight! There is just too much good food in this world.
