Toni's Story
Hey everyone!
Here is a snapshot of my life.
I left Rolling Meadows in the summer after sophomore year and moved to Downers Grove with my Dad and finished my last two years of High School at Dupage Community H.S.
It was a small private school and I had the great experience of wonderful teachers who helped me be a better me.
I still had maturing to do after graduation, and over the next 3 years I really turned it around.
In highschool I was active in theatre and variety shows.
I was in a traveling theatre group, worked as a model in the summers, and did some acting after graduation. I was in the movie the "Color Of Money" with Tom Cruise and Paul Newman. I was in the final tournament scene. My Dad and I got to see it on the big screen and I spotted us in it. The extra's were cheaper than Atlantic city so they hired actors in Chicago and shot it down at Navy Pier and a few other billiard halls in the city. I had the opportunity to meet Tom Cruise and tease him about how many takes it took to sink the ball (lol) 48 I think. It was 5 am and we were done for that 12 hour shift. I was the last one to talk to him, and the lady in front of me says to him will you fluff my towel for my daughter? I rolled my eyes and said "Oh Brother" and when she left and it was my turn to meet him and say something smart I said " you know you really suck at pool " ,we both laughed :) :)
My dad was one of the pool players in the tournament. He played right behind Tom and Paul.
Fast forward -
I've raised 4 children which include...Expand for more
d 1 honorary daughter and I have 9 Grandchildren. Yes thats right, 9.
I'm married and my husband Keith and I like to hunt, fish and enjoy the Lake with our Chocolate Lab.
For work -
I'm a Publisher now and created my own monthly magazine for our Community in Pleasant Prairie and Kenosha, WI.
I get to work writing and interviewing the great businesses, and show the great things in our surrounding communities for stories, music spotlights and Charity events.
I sell advertising in my magazine that supports the free distribution for the neighborhoods.
My Publication is called "Prairie Neighbors".
What's really important to me? The Lord!
I'm a Christian and I love Jesus and what he did for a wretch like me :) Look up John 3:16
I pray those who are reading this can say with conviction they want to know Jesus and live for Eternity.
If you have never asked him in your heart then do it now. I would be glad to share what he's done for me and how you can have peace and joy in your life.
Pray- Dear Heavenly Father, I know I'm a sinner and am not worthy to be in your presence. I'm grateful you sent your son Jesus to die on the cross for my sin. I ask you into my life and to be the Lord of my life, in Jesus name I pray, Amen.

My parents came to the Lord late in life. You're never too old to accept his gift for your life.
