Life Hi All, Tony Brown here. You may also have known me as Anthony Brown or Anthony (Tony) Garvey prior to 1976. I was adopted by my stepdad then so I could have the same last name as the rest of the family :) lol. Anyway, I moved to 709 Burnhamthorpe Rd in Etobicoke, Ontario at the end of June, 1972. Into a Townhouse Condo Complex with a central playground we kids called "the middle". My younger sister was June Brown. My best friends in the townhouse complex were Kim Walters (last name may be 'Wardle' now) and Barry (Bucky) Smith. Kim's sisters were Sheila & Susan. Barry's brother was Jim(my) & his older sister sometimes babysat for us (I forget her name). Also hung around with Anne Britt Gefken (sp) and Steve Sweet sometimes. They lived in the same complex. Rarely hung out with Jackie Ware (Weir?) who lived across the street from Kim. We all played "down by the creek", in the old "tree fort" (where another townhouse complex now sits), and hung out at Burnhamthorpe Plaza across the street from Barry & I. The Chinese Variety Store, The Deli & Dominion were our favourite hangouts there. My parents divorced in 1977/8 and my sister, mom & I, moved to an apartment nearby on The West Mall.
