Tony's Story
Life
I live on the Central Coast of Calif for now, great weather, the place everyone goes to for vactaion. Problem? I live where I want to go on vacation. Hate toursts! An interesting note, everyone out there who has had any contact with the Viet Nam military should be checked for Hepatitis C. Silent, sneaky, but you can live with it, I do. Spent most of my life in Japan, plan on going back. For now I am just soaking sunshine.
College
College on the GI Bill was a wonderful haze, I accumulated credits, knowledge and discovered more about who I am. It prepared me for later when I had to learn from a different sort of education, life. I did pretty well, go...Expand for more
od job, good family, all in Japan. I speak and think a lot differently. Miss the people from EC at SacCity. Made friends in Cototti, Santa Rosa, San Luis Obispo, but mostly in Japan.
Military
Joined the Navy right after graduation, became a Dental Tech/ Field Medic. Those suckers were really trying to kill me. They did kill some of us. Don't forget them for then, and our kids for now. That is something that is really needed, and for the most part, those of us who were in during the 60s and 70s didn't get. For those in now, love and support. They all enlisted. For those of us that were in then, get checked for hepatitis C. Something went very, very wrong.
