Tony's Story
Life
Married Cheryl Kilgore (BBCI grad) in 1979. We have 6 children. We both became christians over 25 years ago. We lived in Calgary for 15 years and then moved to Victoria in 1994. I work for Belfor Restoration and do restoration work (from fires and floods,etc.), primarily doing carpentry. I finished my electrical apprenticeship after a 30 year break and worked in Alberta outside of Cold Lake for JV Driver for about a year. Im still working with Belfor here in Victoria as I want to be close to home as my parents are getting up there in age. My brother Randy passed away about 2 years ago. We are no longer involved in Mercy Ships since the spring of 07. Our second oldest daughter Diana married in June 05 to a great guy Jeff ( he's a mechanic). She is a nurse and they have 4 children. Yes, Cheryl and I are grandparents! Our oldest daughter Carolyn is working with the BC provincial government in the department of finance as an auditor. She has a beautiful girl Lily. a had been doing home support work for Shekinah Homes Society but she now works for the provincial government. Donna also is the owner of Calico Christmas, an arts and crafts show that runs each year on November long weekend here in Victoria. Our son Josh graduated from grade 12 in June 07 and is a talented musician. Plays drums, guitar and just about anything else that he picks up. He married a sweet girl Julie Kervin in September 2013. He is an electrical apprenticeship and working in Fort St John. Our youngest daughter Sandra married Josh Vandervert in April 2011 and live in Powell River. His family owns and runs a steel head fish farm on Louis Lake. Sandra and Josh recently bought a house. They also have a beautiful girl Madilyn and a new baby boy Elijah. Our youngest, Ben has graduated from school and was an Air Cadet with the Kitty Hawk Squadron for over 5 years. He's been in the military for 2 years as a combat engineer and is posted in Edmonton.
