Life Well guys I made it.... Life throws curve balls, but Ms. Williams always warned us, "Bozo's. We (Emerson Middle School) kids all survived and no one got hurt. Think if school were like what it is today, we all would be in trouble.. Everyone remembers how we all had our clicks back then, but did that really get us anywere. We all made fun of, and teased the ones that were different then us, but why? Did it make things right? One doens't still prank that neard from middle school? or do they? Back then things were a lot different, we made them different, but is that right? Hmm something to ponder. And what ever happened to those people that were isolated from being "human" like Janet Flemming or Shawn Fredrick. Why did you pick on them? I got the stigma in Elementary school thanks to Devin Eckels, and I was teased and harrassed just like others were, but people like Mr. Eckles don't follow you your whole life, and what may have seemed evil back then only makes you stronger now. Even though my stigma left me in high school, there was always something.. I dind't fit it for this reason, I didn't fit in for that reason, but it was never right to do from the start. And now.. we are all raising on own children, and for those of you who were the bulley's back then, and have children that are being teased and taunted, you now understand what it was like when you were doing the bulleying. I ran into a kid from high school, I think his name was Bobby, he saw me at DrugMart in Lakewood, he came up to me and apologized as if to apply things were said about me behind my back and said he was sorry if he ever hurt me, and how childish it was. I'll never forget that. Maybe if I had those apologies back in my Senior year I wouldn't have committed suicide.... but since I am writing this today, I guess it failed. But for others like Jeff Sargent, Marnie Seagon, and that really preppy kid from the football team, what was his name... to name a few it didn't, and they died, because hmm.. People wouldn't accept them and were afraind...Expand for more
