Life My Spouse We were working the graveyard shift at Iowa State University as custodians. We met cleaning up classrooms after the late spring flood of 1975 in Ames, Iowa. On November 26, we celebrate 33 years of marriage. Praise the Lord!!! We currently live about 3 miles west of Cass Lake, MN on a couple of acres that run along US Highway 2. We over look Little Wolf Lake. This home is on the property that once belonged to my parents. We purchased it to build a retirement home, but have arrived here sooner than we anticipated. It's a long story. If interested in the details, just ask. My Pets We now have a dog named Zee Bee. She is a mixed breed we got from the Beltrami County Humane Society. She is a rez dog, born on the Leech Lake Indian Reservation, on which we live. My Kids The oldest is Colette, my step daughter. She lives in Garner, Iowa with her husband, Kevin. She has 5 kids: 1) Paul, who lives in Stratford, IA, and works two jobs, one in Boone, the other in Webster City; 2) April, who is married to Matt and has two of our great-grandkis, Jasmin and Curtis, and they all live in Fort Dodge, IA; 3)Mysti, with her husband Al, lives in Garner, IA, and has our two other great-grandkids,Alexis and Hunter, (both Jasmin and Alexis are now in school); 4) Adam, who lives at home and attends classes at North Iowa Community College in Mason City; 5) Nicole, who is now a senior at Garner- Hayfield high school, with plans of grad...Expand for more
