Life
John and I have 4 children. 3 girls and THE BOY!! Amber is now 23, Jaimi is 21, Taylor is 16 and Zac is 14. We live in a nice area by Lake Michigan. Rather touristy or they are trying their darndest to make it that way. John works at the Nuclear Power Plant (26yrs. ouch!!) I am working at the middle school in the lunchroom. I am a dreaded lunchlady. But I have to say that the pay is good and the hours couldn't be better!!! I am home all summer with the kids and off for Christmas and all the days they have off. I feel that it is important to be home when they get home and this job offers me that. I love working with the kids. Sometimes I feel that I am the only person giving them lessons in manners.
Getting kids to all their things seems to be my hobby for now.
The two oldest are attending Western Michigan University, Amber is a history major and Jaimi is going into elementary education. Amber did her first 2 years locally at Lake Michigan Colleg...Expand for more
e then transferred. Jaimi being the opposite child that she is, insisted on going straight to Western, do not pass go, do not collect $200. Jaimi and Amber both are in Phi Beta Pi Sorority.
Jaimi just came home the end of June after studying abroad in Australia, for a semester, this is the second time she hass been there, she went with the Student Ambassador's Program when she was 16. She was gone for 18 days. Said that she was going to go back and managed to do it.
Our daughter Taylor is in Scotland right now, visiting with a family of a friend that she met 4 years ago while playing an online game.
He came over here and visited with us for a month last summer and his family is reciprocating this summer.
She went to London for a few days and then on to Penzance and now is back in Scotland. She will be gone for 5 weeks. She left the day after Jaimi came home so I wouldn't have to drive to O'Hare airport 2 times in a row.
So things are good. Life is fine.
