Contessa Traci's Story
Life
After graduation, I went to Simpson College in Redding, Ca for a year & then lived in Salem, Or for a while. Eventually, I moved back to the Chehalis area to work w/ a non-profit org, Young Life. My 3 little sisters were still in school I thought it was a great opp to be involved in their lives. I worked full time & volunteered for 6 years w/ YL, then went on full time YL staff for 2 years.
Travelled all over U.S. during this time & loved it.
I met my husband-to-be in April/May '99 while visiting some friends in DC. A year later (July 00) he proposed to me in Jerusalem, Israel, after meeting his father for the first time in Tel Aviv. We were married October...Expand for more
21, 2000 in Centralia, but we reside right outside of Washington, DC, in Falls Church, VA. Quite a change of pace from Chehalis & the West Coast!!
I really like it out here so far, despite the humid summers. The world of politics is interesting but I do my best to not get too caught up into it all. My husband is pretty involved in the government, mostly concerning health care issues.
After 7 1/2 years of marriage, we now have a set of 4 yr old boy/girl twins, Levi & Elisheva. We also have a singleton boy who will be turning 1 in July ('08) named Micah. They are the greatest kids ever. We have so much fun with them. What a great joy and privilege to be a parent!
