Life
Well, since 2002 I have been performing the toughest job in the military...I'm an Army Wife. I know not everyone will understand or agree with that statement, but until you live it, it's hard to. From April 2002 to April 2008, I have survived 7 deployments, yes 7. Now these 7 are from my husband Andy, my two brothers who were both stationed here with us, and my ex-husband Peter, whom I am still great friends with. But it doesn't matter who is the one gone, they are tough either way...knowing someone you love dearly is in a place they might not return from. Make a little more sense now as to why this is the toughest job?? I also own my own business, which lets me work from home and set my own hours. Which is great when you never know which end is up because of the military...and that is quite often. But I honestly would...Expand for more
n't have it any other way...to be able to stand beside my husband, knowing what he is sacrificing, brings me more pride and satisfaction than anything else. My husband Andy is an MP and loves it...LOL. He's put in a lot of hard work and has proven himself within his unit...which means he is usually shift supervisor or assistant supervisor when they work the road. I say this because it means I go to bed by myself a lot, even though he is still here in NC...LOL. You can actually find him on here too.
Workplace
Well, I used to work for one of the largest Active Sportsware manufacturers in the country...Soffe. I was the Color Analyst and Samples Buyer for the company, working in the Product Development department. I left the company last year due to medical reasons, so I now get to enjoy the job of the underpaid housewife...LOL.
