Tracy's Story
After graduating from Santa Clara High, I waited a while and joined the Marine Corps and was stationed in Okinawa for 7 years. I have a 10 year old daughter there who I see as often as I can, actually going to to see her in Hawaii for a month in August where she has family. I deployed alot around the Pacific and eventually had enough. I was Honorably Discharged in Nov of 02 and moved to Elko to fight fire with the BLM. f Vegas. I came home, worked underground with Small Mine Development and volunteered to go back to Iraq with my unit out of Reno. Upon returning from there I have been serving full time with the Guard, first with my old Company as the Assistant truck Master (like a fleet mamnager) and now I have transfered to an Aviation unit where I am the Supply/Logistics NCO. I love Reno and spend most of my off time with friends, family, offroading and cooking for my beautiful Fiancee'. We are expecting our first child in March. I am just enjoying life with all of it's twists and turns.
