Tracy's Story
Well, hello!
I'm Tracy Marie Cipperly Beasley, and I'm guessing if you're reading this you probably know me from some spot in time over the last 30ish years.
You can see where I've been in terms of schools/etc. in that little list classmates provides, although I must admit that as of right now (January 2009) that list is a bit out of date. I haven't logged on here for probably 5 years. I suppose I need to do some updating.
So what am I up to now? I'm married to a wonderful man, Michael, as of April 19, 2009. We'd been dating and living together for years, so honoring our relationship with a transformative rite of passage like marriage seemed only natural. It was a perfect ceremony written 100% by us, filled with our very closest friends and family performing all the different roles, and with all the more friends and family looking on as witnesses. And then, the party began and we all celebrated together late into the night. Truly, a perfect day and night and positively transformative for us both!
I work as a nurse in a large emergency department and trauma center at the moment...Expand for more
. I love my job and planning on staying there for at least another year before returning to more labor and delivery care and eventually returning to school for midwifery. The ER/ED simply offers too much fun and far too many learning experiences.
We own a home in Apex, NC, which is a pretty small and quaint town but with lots of suburban conveniences. I love our home, but we would both still prefer to be off in the country somewhere. Preferably growing a good bit of our food and getting off the grid and so forth.
Yeah, we're a bit hippy-ish if that comment didn't explain it. Staunch tree-hugging, vaguely-fringe, alternative liberals. Economic liberals, and perhaps social libertarians. Big Obama supporters, so we're damn happy right now. :)
We've got two dogs, two cats and a rabbit. I'd love quite a few more of nearly everything if we ever go get that house in the country.
Plenty more I could explain and update about my, and our, lives, but I guess that will do for an intro.
Drop me a line. Say hello. Good to "see" you again, and thanks for stopping by. How time flies, eh?
