Tracy's Story
Life
October 2007 - Well, here's the short version for anyone interested that doesn't already know...
Brett and I met in the summer of 1998, and as sappy as it sounds...we truly are best friends. Unlike my first marriage, which I'd like to think I learned some things from, Brett and I chose not to live together prior to getting married. So, we dated for two years and were married in November of 2000.
About Brett...he has been a teacher and head football coach for the past ten years here where he was born and raised. This year, he also took on Assistant Athletic Director. Additionally, he is a passionate Husker and Yankees fan...well, and so are the rest of us! I guess you could say it's become a family thing! :)
As for me...I started grad school a few years ago and graduated with my Master of Arts in Counseling degree in May of 2006. I now work part-time as a Mental Health Therapist with a Christian emphasis here in the rural area. But, most days I am a stay-at-home mom that does a little of everything; raising our family has always been my first love and priority.
We have three children...two boys and a girl.

2001, and started kindergarten this year. He already has dreams of playing football and baseball for the Huskers. And, he's got a pretty good arm already, so I could see him doing just that. :)
Kade Ethan was born December 26, 2003, and is my "Big Helper" now that his big brother is in school. He is our ornery one...always saying off-the-wall stuff and making us laugh. I'm afraid he'll be the one to "pay me back" for my wild and ornery days. ;)
Miss Kolbi Layne was born last year on December 14, 2006. She will be 10 months-old this month already. There is no other way to put it, she just completes our family! The boys just adore her...well, and so do the rest of us! :) She is the only granddaughter/niece on either side of the family also...so, yes, she's continually goo-goo-ed and ga-ga-ed over! And, with having the football coach for her daddy, two older brothers, and three older boy cousins, we think she'll have a hard time dating...to which Brett finds comfort in! ;)
