Tracy's Story
Life
I am currently legally seperated. I have two boys Denver(5) and Breilly(3). I am a former surgical tech pursuing a nursing career in specialty care. I plan to move on to research in Immunology once my kids are a bit older. My two boys and I currently live in my parents attached guest house while my oldest son Denver undergoes his three and a half years of chemotherapy, he currently has eight months of treatment to go. Once treatment is complete, we will begin the process of building our house. I am working on creating a foundation for children with life threatning illnesses, A foundation that will grant these children small wishes and help fund carefully selected cancer research programs. I have had two big events unfold in my life, but I feel that it has only made me a stronger person and has made me realize how important it is to live life one day at a time and cherish every minute you have with your family.

h fun. When I moved back to Michigan is when I started to get serious about my career. I became a Surgical Tech and pursued a Nursing career in Specialty care. I plan to further my studies in research of Immunology when my kids are a bit older.
Workplace
After completing school, I did a year of internship at a teen health clinic and was hired to work with them after the completion of my internship. After working there for a year I had applied to work at the University of Michigan Hospital and got hired, I worked there for a year and ended up having to leave due to a complicated pregnancy with my second child. Four months after my second child was born, I was hired to work with the Henry Ford Health System. I had worked there for a little over a year before my oldest son was diagnosed with Leukemia. Again I had to leave my job and take care of my son. Right now I stay home to take care of my son and have been getting some extra schooling in. In addition to that I have been working on my foundation for seriously ill children, and enjoying every minute with my boys.
