Life
My Spouse
I met my husband at work. We were both working at the Coleman plant in Wichita, Kansas. He was working on lanterns, and I was brazing the pipng for the stoves. We had a mutual friend, who intorduced us. He watched me go through a rough breakup with my fiance' (my oldest son's father), and decided that someone needed to take care of me and my 1 1/2 year old son. My son ended up in the hospital, the night of our first date, and he found a way to spend the night in the hospital with my son and I, when my son's father wouldn't even bother. It was then that I decided to "keep" him.
My Kids
Timothy Chad (named after Chad Turner...Expand for more
)is 9, and is the smartest kid in his class. He loves computers, and tells the computer lab teacher how to work the computer.
Katherine Michelle(katie) is named after my grandma, 'cause no one else would name their kids after such a goofy woman, he he, is 7 and loves to draw. She is not happy unless she has paper and something to draw with.
Daniel James ,who is named after our family doctor who was killed in a private plane crash, is 5 and he is hell on wheels (he has ADHD). He loves to get into everything, especially food. He's already trying to learn how to cook. I just wish he would keep the eggs and milk off of my furniture and carpet.
