Travis's Story
Life
After highschool, I went to college(Michigan Tech) for a year, studding Bio Medical Engeneering. After the first year, I made a drastic change in my life. I joined the Marine Corps. I went though 18 weeks (almost 5 months) of boot camp. I was in boot camp 5 weeks longer than I should have been due to having a collapsed lung in week 6. Graduation was in june of 2002. After all my schooling, I was assigned to HMM-268, the Red Dragons. In Feb 2003, I was deployed to kuwait/Iraq for the first time. I was over there for 7 months. After 9 months at home I was deployed to Iraq for another 7 months. Now, I am back in the states(March 10t...Expand for more

Its almost thanksgving, and my last deplayment tio Iraq is slowly aproaching. no to much has happened, but that is ok some times. 1 month till the big 24 too.

I left for this god forsaken place on Feb 9th, and arived Feb 11th. for the last 5 months, my life has been filled to nothing but insanity, and me waiting to get back to the real world. it honestly has not been to bad, but i still cannot wait till i get home, and out of the marine corps. Then, and only then can i start living life.
