Treena's Story
Life
I have spent the last 20 years of my life living in San Francisco CA. I attended San Jose State University where I received a Masters Degree in Child Psychology/Sociology.
I have seen a few friends since returning from CA but not as many as I thought I would have.
I am, currently a Social/Caseworker with High Risk youth and a Paramedic. I also play music around the world with many bands on tour.
College
I entered college the summer of 1983. I decided to study psychology to see if I might find out why I was having "panic attacks" and now I do know why, just can't always stop them.
I attended Ohlone college just to make sure I really wanted to go, and the first semester was over and I loved it.
I played softball and we took the state championship for the first time in 13 years. I was the varsity pitcher, fastball and we were 35 and 0, never lost a game. My coach Sherrie Boots, what a great women, she died of cancer...Expand for more
my second season. Needless to say we had a rough time getting by without her but we did the season as #1.
Academically speaking I was an honor student and I worked my butt off, also receiving a scholarship to San Jose State University. Where I finished studying Psychology. Later I attended UCSF and received my Paramedic License.
I hope old friends remember me as a good athlete and caring of others. High School meant a lot more to me than I assumed it would once we all went our separate ways. Many of you had an impact on my life in a good way! I hope we can get together and talk about some of the fun we use to have. Life is so serious now!
Well some new news. I'm divorced my husband of 29 years and have fallen in love with a woman, so everyone who thought I was a lesbian back in the 70's, your thoughts are correct. I am living and now married to with Judith Ann Benson BSN CCRN. Living in Dallas Texas for about 8 months now.
