Life
I'm still involved with the Edmonton Public School Board. My first job after high school was there, I've been a teacher and now am a secretary. I have two daughters: one is married and is living in Beaverlodge, Alberta with her American husband who is a youth pastor and a son and daughter. My daughter has her CGA but is currently on mat leave. My second daughter has been recently diagnosed as bipolar and has brought to us another perspective on life through the eyes of. . . She has had three children, the most recent being born on Dec. 31 three months early . the other little girl is being adopted by her guardians so all is well in that regard. I am now a grandmother of six: two wonderful grandsons and four wonderful granddaughters. My husband is retired but has his own consulting business. Have stayed in Edmonton except for an eight month "visit" to Vancouver with Barb Henry. She lasted almost 20 years, myself - eight months. Got a BA in Psychology, then a teaching certificate; taught school for nine years. Stayed home for 15. Have worked for 11 years back with the school board and will retire in June. Good memory is of our graduating class's 25th reunion - 1991. We need to have another one. I enjoy seeing old friends from school days here and there. Am trying to become a golfer and a quilter.
