Treva's Story
Life
After graduation, I attended Columbus College for a few semesters but after my father's death, I just couldn't stay focused so I started working. I got married in December 1983 and had my daughter, Whitney in October 1984. In 1985 my husband joined the U.S. Coast Guard and we were stationed in Texas until 1989 at which time we moved to Florida. I worked for the Daytona Beach Police Department as a 911 dispatcher for 2 years. I had a miscarriage and at that time we decided to move back to Columbus. ngs that ever happened to me. I raised my daughter and enjoyed the single life. I've lived in Texas, Florida and Illinois. In May of 2003 Whitney graduated from high school and as promised, I moved back to Florida. Eight weeks after my after my arrival I was diagnosed with a cyst on my right kidney. I had various test performed and had to have the kidney removed due to cancer. I moved back to Columbus in August 2004 and work as a legal secretary for a large law firm. I date, enjoy spending time with my daughter and my friends and do volunteer work.
