Patricia's Story

Life I moved out of Milton and never really looked back since. I live in Poughkeepsie NY. I work in a Methadone Clinic...very interesting as my whole career has been. I graduated with a Masters Degree from Fordham University in Social Work..me who never did homework or studies...lol. I am also thrilled that I have had the chance to teach as an adjunct at Rutgers University in their Graduate School of Social Work. I am divorced and I have never had any children. I would love to hear how others are doing. I recently started doing community theater, something I wanted to do in high school but never had the chance...great fun! School I had a great time at JTHS. Made lots of friends and had good fun-yeah I did learn a thing or two. Milton was great town, people there were very special and near and dear to my heart. shows, football games and some very interesting parties-it was a great time. I will always remember it well. College I was in and out of college a few times before I got it right. Spent too many days partying with John G. and Maryanne C. in the Student Center at CCM and had to leave-LOL. Went back later and graduated in 1985, moved on to Montclair State and had to drop out because of an accident I literally fractured my butt. Finally in 92 I graduated with a BSW from Ramapo College and them my MSW in 94 from Fordham University. I am now NY Social Worker and do Drug and Alcohol Counseling. I loved my schooling, I plan on going for a PhD someday just 'cause!. Workplace See life above... I am thinking about going back to school to get another Masters...like one isn't enough. Perhaps as a Special Education teacher...thinking I might like the whole summers off thing!
