Trina's Story

Life I married a couple of years after high school and had a daughter. I was divorced 2 years later and was a single parent. I worked several years as a waitress, in Western WA, and then moved to Eastern WA, and worked in the packing sheds. I remarried on February 14, 1992 to a great guy and we have been togther since. I went back to school and finished up what I had started, and went to work at an Employment Agency in H.R. I worked there for a few years then went to work as a teacher at a non-profit organization. I worked with clients who were on the welfare to work programs, and others who were just released from prison. This was a really demanding job. These clients had so many obsticals against them, but most succeded and went on to become great assets for employers, and had faith and confidence in themselves once again. I really loved what I did. Then I had a bad accident and ended up having 4 back surgeries, the last procedure they ended up having to put metal cages on the inside of my spine and plates on the outside along with a two section fusion. So this was the end of my career, I am no longer able to work. Then in 2004 I was blessed with a beautiful red headed granddaughter Alyssa and a grandson in 2008 Kaleb and Brooklyn in 2011who are my whole world. We all love the ou...Expand for more
tdoors and do a lot of fishing, camping, swimming, horseback riding and just driving in the mountains. My favorite thing is still fishing for stergeon, and Lissie has definitely become good at it also, of course she can't reel one in with out a lot of help, when you are talking about it possibly weighing 100 lb. and even more, but that's her and my favorite thing to do. We go quit often with my brother Shawn. . Alyssa and I also do scrapbooking, well I try to!! I think I spend more time running after Lissie who has gotton into something she shouldn't have then scrapbooking. Both my parents died last year 2010, dad July 18th and mom 6 days later, it has been the hardest thing I have been through. as for Shawn has been fighting cancer for several years, right now he is in remission, thank god for that. Delbert is still living in Oregon and has been for many years, he loves it there. All in all, I accomplished more in my career journey and family life than I thought I would. If I had to do anything over again, I dont think I would change a thing, well maybe a couple of thing's LOL for the sure fact that is what makes us the person we have become, was from the trials and challenges we have all gone through on our journey to be who we are today. Drop me a line if you want to talk.
