Trisha's Story
Life
My life bio is very simple. I do the best I can to be the best person I can be. I try to help as many people as I can and always put God first in everything that I do. I work really hard not to be judgemental and I try to make sure everything that comes from my mouth is positive and has purpose.
College
I remember my first roomate at SU was a girl from Alexandria named Veronica O'Connor(BaBa). She was very sweet and sooooo country. I use to love to hear her talk. She would never leave the room. She did not seem to like campus life and that was evident because she never came back after that first year. We use to have some fun times in Boley Hall. I would really like to find my Suitemates. ccupied room three and Mia Monique Owens(my favorite) and Cheryl Lavette Merritt in room four. We use to really have some fun times watching the boys in Jones Hall strip in the windows.
The funniest thing I remember is when we would miss curfew and get locked out of the dorm we had to beg Mama Boley to let us in. She always did and we would always vow to never do it again, until next weekend!
Also, Cleo Fields was running for SGA President and he would feed us like crazy. The cafeteria would serve Ox tails and we would starve all night long.
At Xavier I remember my nervous breakdown when I didn't have Dr. Thompson's work. That was so funny! She looked at me like I was crazy while I(age 39) cried like a baby. She had sympathy on me thank goodness because she could have stopped me from graduating. Thanxs Dr. Tee
School has always been an important part of my life and I hope to reconnect with some of my old school buddies.
