Trisha's Story
Life After High School
I went on to Iowa State University and graduated with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Exercise Sport Science with minors in Psychology and Health Studies. I personal trained commercially for about a year and then moved into Corporate Fitness which I did along with in-home personal training, teaching group exercise and Pilates classes for about 9 years. I obtained my Masters of Healthy Psychology in 2016. Most recently I work from home full time doing Digital Health Coaching and as a Market Partner with Monat.
I am engaged to be married in June 2020 and I/we do not have any children. We have 4 fur babies though (2 dogs and 2 cats). I bought a townhome in Farmington in Jan '07, then a single family home in Rosemount and then 4 years ago my fiancé and I bought a home together back in Farmington.
College
I absolutely loved IA State University. It was an absolutely beautiful campus and I was fortunate to meet the most wonderful friends I have ever had. I was also able to be there at the same time as my favorite cousin and lived with her 3 of the years I was down the...Expand for more

I am sure my college experience was no different though than anyone elses. Going to bed late, sleeping even later....only going to the classes you "had" to go to....and several amazing spring breaks thrown in there somewhere as well (Jamaica, Cancun, Ft. Lauderdale, AZ).
I also went on to complete my Masters of Health Psychology from Walden University in 2016.
Workplace
I worked at good ole' Target Greatland in Apple Valley throughout High School. During college I had many jobs including JC Penney's, Hickory Farms during the holidays, a Hallmark gift store, a laundromat/tanning place, etc. My favorite in college though was working at The Rec on campus at the front desk, in the gym and then finally personal training.
I worked at Northwest Athletic Club in Burnsville for all of 4 months after college and then obtained my job in Corporate Fitness. I was on site at Wells Fargo Home Mortgage managing their corporate wellness program for 6.5 years. I then went on to consulting with companies on workplace wellness for another 3 years. And now I work FT at home as I mentioned above.
