Life throws us a curve every now and then... I still work at Folsom Prison, but sad to say I am going through a divorce. It is hard to be on your own when you have been a part of something for so long. But as always, I know I will make it thru. I enjoy checking in this site and seeing old names from the past. 9/12/07 Wow, Life can be crazy and surprising and wonderful and scary all at the same time. I am getting ready to begin a new career with the State of California. It is really hard to leave the job I have been at the last seven years. I have been working at a small construction office with my husband and it will be really strange not to see him at work every day. But God is good and directs my life so he knows where He wants me to be!!
7/6/07 Watching your children grow up and mature is so wonderful.. Seeing my boys go about their jobs and getting to be young men is so amazing. God works in such mysterious ways, you think that your children sometimes don't really listen to you ...Expand for more
when you see the mistakes and problems that they have, but really they just need the time to figure it out in their own way. Both of my young guys are starting on their own paths and beginning to figure it out!! My daughter is a beautiful talented young woman beginning her own family and buying her own home. Thank you Lord for hearing a mothers prayers!!! 6/21/07 We went to Spokane to see my youngest graduate. I t was really wonderful to see the look of anticipation for life in his eyes. Spent the week just visiting w/family and saw my daughter who is now 6 months pregnant. She is so stinkin' cute!!!, Just a tiny little thing with a belly that is going to end up being bigger than her!! They are having a boy and are still deciding on names. God is so wonderful to give us different joys at each stage of our lives. Who would have ever thought about getting to see their child have a baby when we were just graduating from high school? It probably would have been pretty scary to think about then, but now..... nothing could be more wonderful!!!!!
