V.J.'s Story

Ok, well I haven't done anything spectacular to write about. I was a Sr. Technician at a chemical plant down in St. Gabriel. Retired Sept. 2016 after working there for 28 yrs. Before that I worked at Ethyl Corp. Presently my big project is restoring a 1968 Camaro like the one I had in school. I've remarried my high school sweetheart. We've been...Expand for more
back together for 23 years. Found her 21 yrs after an abreviated first marriage to her. We have a home in Central, and I've been here for 38 years. I really can't complain. Our home was flooded in August 2016 but we survived and other than that life is good. Its so good to see many of the people from my past on this site. Hello to all of you.

While the stadium crowd has to listen to the PA announcer call for a moment of silent reflection because someone in the stadium might get their feelings hurt by us saying a prayer, this is what the Tigers are doing.
I saw this picture of a painting today. Since the anniversary of this horrific act was only a few days ago, this really causes one to realize how horrible of an act this really was.
