Life Life is an adventure... After high school, I attended University of California, Santa Cruz. Because my parents moved out of state, I had to accelerate my college program, and graduated with honors, completing two BA's in 3.5 years. Courtesy of a dirt bike accident injury (I was pretty adventurous then), I moved from CA to TX and lived with my parents for several months while recovering. I returned to California to attend graduate school at UC Davis, and get my teaching credential. I taught for 17 years (mostly high school) and covered a variety of subjects: English, Psychology, French, Reading, Creative Writing, Honors English, and Speech/Debate. In 1990, I decided I wanted to work with "grown ups" for a change. After working as a freelance trainer for a while, I started an image consulting business. I have pursued that full and part time ever since, along with various sales and management positions. I'vwe worked in a variety of industries, including relocation, trade show and event marketing, property management, and construction/engineering. I currently work as a marketing and business development consultant and have contracts with some associations and companies. I have been married and divorced twice (hope springs eternal). ved in a variety of places, including some ranches, but I'm back in Sacramento now, and fairly content. I live in a small, serene apartment community. I pursue a variety of activities and have a circle of loving friends who find me creative, witty, supportive and kind. I date now and then, but there is no Mr. Right in the picture at the moment. The weather in Sacramento is wonderful. I love being surrounded by rivers and lakes, and enjoy the sunshine and mild winters. I took up golf in 2006 and really enjoy it - I usually play once or twice a week and hit the driving range regularly. I'm easy going and fun to play with. Yes, call me to play! The clubs are always in the car. My parents are still alive, well, and living in Richardson, TX. My older sister, Linda (IHS 66), and her son, daughter-in-law and grandbaby live in the Houston area. My younger sister, Twyla, lives in the St. Louis area with her husband and two daughters. I visit them all as often as possible. I would enjoy reconnecting with high school friends, catching up, and having some fun. Life's too short, let's not put it off. I've also started work on the 40th reunion scheduled for July 19, 2008. Be sure to update me on your whereabouts, so we can have a great crowd and a wonderful time!
