I live with my husband, an Australian physicist named Rob Penny, in Tierrasanta in San Diego, where I write and publish poetry, fiction, and nonfiction, knit, sing and write songs. Over the years, I got my bachelor's degree in Cognitive Science and a Ph.D. in Psychology/Visual Science. I had a gig for years at a folk club, then sang in a blues band for a while.
