Valerie's Story
Life
Was married in '92 to a Navy man, lived in Chula Vista (Eastlake area), then bought a house in Mira Mesa to be closer to work. Got divorced in 2004, then sold my place in Mira Mesa, after being hurt on the job and having surgery. I packed up all my belongings and my dog, Booger (white German Shepard mix), and moved to Northern Colorado (I live Northwewst of Boulder) where I bought a house and live 2 blocks from my 2 best friends and their 3-yo twin daughters. a 9 yo son, Matthew.
I visit San Diego 1-2 times a year, but my home is here in Colorado. My folks still live in Park Point Loma, however, my grandparents have passed on; Grandpa Cipranic left to be with God 2 years ago, Grandma Cipranic passed on this past December. They will be sorely missed.
College
After attempting college 2 other times, I finally completed my 6-month schooling to become a Medical Insurance Billing and Coding Specialist. November 10, 2006 I graduated Summa Cum Laude (Dean's List of 4.0 GPA) from Everst College.
Who would have guessed it would be "3rd time's a charm' for me and school?
