Valerie's Story
Left for Vermilion, Ohio, in 2004, when my ex was transfered with Ford Motor Company.
I recently switched jobs. I am now a Rep for Avon. Made alot of changes in my life over the past 3 years. Lost alot of weight, got healthy and began dating again.
Love having my kids and friends around me as much as possible. I have 3 beautiful children. Andrew, just turned 21. He is attendng Marietta College and is in his 3nd year. His major is in Theater and has made it to the National Finals where he will compete with the best of the best for Broadway producers come this March. He is an awsome actor and I pray he will go far. He has made the Deans list for the 2nd time.
Bradley, is 14 and is a left handed pitcher for the Hot Stove league here in Cleveland. He is being tutored by a retired pitcher and has a great future in baseball.
And last but not least my little girl Brittany, She is 13 and won Jr. Miss Vermilion 2 years running.
I am still looking for friends I hung with in High School and will be in town again next spring for about 2 weeks and hope to meet up with alot of you at that time I did find Nancy Fechter, Danny Mcmanis, Chris Ramsey, Jim Gerdel and Dennis Patterson. Enjoyed being with all of them while there this past August!!! Danny thanks for showing me such a great time!!! Why did you have to go and get married again, lol!!!! Dennis Patterson, Man you are still hot as ever, thanks for the attention!!! Nancy, I have missed you the most and 1 week in St. Louis, was not enough time to catch up on 25 years of living thats for sure.
I have e-mailed Angie Stahl and Sue shrivers but were not able to get together while there. I would like to take a few lines here and say I am sorry to anyone I may have hurt back then... I was young and very full of myself as most teenagers were. Eddie Vanhoogenstrat (i think thats how you spelt it) I owe you a special "I'm sorry" for hurting you.
I miss so many of you. I wish I would have kept in contact. But thats why I joined this site... I hope I can find the rest of you!!!!

Story Wizard:
The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is Scott Barlow, because I never got over him.
If I could improve my home, I'd remodel my bedroom and add on a garden bath. My dream home would be , I already live in it.
The years go by way too fast!
If I won $100 million, I'd give 50 million of it to childrens hospitals, then spend the rest on Andrew, Bradley and Brittany.
What happened to my first crush?... He is in Iraq serving his country.
To be truely happy I would live in Hawaii with Scott and our kids
My best friend would tell you I'm beautiful inside and out, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as Stuck up.
I share my home with my kids, which I find a blessing.
If I could do one thing over... I would have married Scott Barlow.
In 10 years, I hope to be retired. I'm going to get there by working my ass off while I can.
What about me that would surprise everyone at my high school reunion? I would have to say the career I have.
My first job was at White Castles, where I got paid 3.15 an hour to flip burgers. What I remember most about it is Kevin Love taking and picking me up from work lol other than it wasnt very memorable.
I always wanted to be a singer when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a possible idea. As it turns out, they were right. But I just do it for fun now.
Sit in my hot tub or go to the beach late at night and listen to the waves come in, is what I do to relax and blow off steam
If I'm going to work somewhere, I need to have my pop, a bagel, and a cigarette to be able to deal with the day-to-day.
My hero would have to be my mother. She has been thru so much and is still just as beautiful today as she was when I was a child
