Vance's Story
Life
When I was 17, during High School, I joined the U.S. Navy. I did 7 years in the Navy making it to the rank of E-5 in just 3 years. During my time in the Navy I went to the following countries; Singapore, Japan, Korea, Diego Garcia, Indonesia, Germany, and Poland. I've been to just about every state on the eastern half of the U.S. and of course Ca. I was a IT2 with 10 medals, 16 ribbons when I was honorably discharged with a medical retirement. .S. Coast Guard after working for Defense Security Service as a DOD Contractor. I recently transferred to the Veterans Affairs for a GS-12 job. I've attended various colleges off and on through the years, and finally almost have my Bachelors through UMUC. Next step is my masters. I got married in September 2003, to Andrea, and we had our beautiful daughter Kaylee Renee in September 2004, and Autumn Elizabeth in June 2007.
