Vanessa's Story
Life
No pets (sadly, i am deathly allergic), no kids (maybe I'm allergic to them, too...?), but a full life I do have. I am living in Prince George, British Columbia, Canada. Been in BC since 1994. Moved out here from Montreal, with my then partner, Chris. We bought a house in the boonies of BC (Sinclair Mills, to be exact) where we spent 6 rugged years doing the 'back to the land-er' thing. We gardened, baked bread, made yogourt, chopped and burned wood...etc...and relied on sporadic work as camp-cooks.
We split in 2002, and I moved into Prince George, the nearest town, where I began taking courses at UNBC, and took up my long-term affair with pottery again, both of which today make up major components ...Expand for more
of my life. I also work full-time with AImHi, and agency which provides support for people with disabilities. Been with them since 1998.
In 2004, I met my current sweetie, Dean, who melts my heart on a daily basis. We live in a house bought in 2005, in downtown PG. He is currently helping me set up a pottery studio in my basement, so that i can work from home. Life is good.
I am, among other things, a master procrastinator, and often end up browsing sites like this one, for shreds of my past, and keep telling myself that someday, i'll pay for a membership and connect back with folks i've known. There are a few I really am curious to find again...you know who you are.
