William's Story
Started my schooling at the old Relay Elementary school on Rolling Rd in Relay for grades 1 through 4. Grades 5 & 6 I moved to the new Relay Elementary School. For grades 7 & 8, I attended Arbutus Junior (where a lot of my classmates know me from). Grades 9, 10, and 11 I attended Mt St Joseph. Graduated from Lansdowne Senior High in June od 1973. I joined the Army in 1974. I did my boot camp at Ft Dix, NJ and my Advanced training at Ft Ord, CA which is no longer a military post. Retired from the US Army as a Staff Sergeant. Had tours at Arlington Hall Station, VA (1974-78); US Army Field Station Berlin (1978-80); US Army Intelligence School, Ft Devens, MA (1980-81); S.H.A.P.E. Was working for Northrop Grumman as a Technical Writer for the Virginia Information Technologies Agency project after working for 6 years as a Help Desk Technician. Married Linnet Goble March 79 and divorced Feb 81 (No children). Married Betsy L. Peet Sep 86 (1 daughter, Signe Katherene age 28). Unemployed for 2 years. Hired as Help Desk Technician in Jan 2013 for Customs and Border Protection contract by Systems Integration, Inc. Am working as a Desk Side Computer Technician for CompuCom contracted to Altria (parent company of Philip Morris).
