Vicki's Story
Hey to all of you, just thought I would take a break from my daily routine and catch up. Things have really kicked up a notch since my last post. In December 2007 I started college pursuing a degree in Business Administration. This had already gotten me a promotion and I've only just begun. I have gone from 1 grandson to 3 and another on the way.( just can't seam to get that girl) All this makes my life very full and sometimes overwhelming, but I love it like that. My daughter Emily is currently attending Greenville Tech and has changed her major from nursing to psychology. My son Steven is home from Iraq and has a beautiful new wife and son, although E.J. is only 5 months old he and his 6 year old brother Triston are both very dear to me. My 2 year old grandson Jace lives right next door with his mother Amanda and father D. J.
Wow my life sure didn't turn out like I planned, But then God has put many thing in my path that were much better than I deserved. I am single and have been for about 12 years now, my children were my life for so long and this is just how it turns out. I haven't given up hope yet though, just don't know if I could ever live any thing but the single life. I'm kinda set in my ways now and I like the way I live.

erings I finally settled in the Upstate of S.C. I live in a small community in Pickens County called Dacuasville, its about 4 miles outside of Easley and a great place to live. Although its a long way from Barrineau it has its similarities. I know all my neighbors and have many friends.
I am no longer the loner that I was in high school I finally found my voice and exercise my right to use it. I volunteer with the local Country Santa in Pumpkintown, S.C. We provide toys to needy children in our area. I also help with the March of Dimes and the Arthritis Foundation, My sister Becky is a victim of arthritis to the point of being disabled. However, she still organizes a annual trip for all of my sisters and my mother to walk and raise money so we can continue to search for a cure. (Props to you Becky)
If anyone wants to reconect I can be found on Facebook under the name Vicki Parker.I would be happy to hear form you.
I am a member of the Dacuasville Church of God where I have a whole other family of loving people to support me. With all of this going for me I know that God still has great things for me to accomplish. So for now I'll just keep the faith and see what happens next. maybe I'll see you all again someday till then toodles
