Vicki's Story
Life
I have such fond memories of Brookside and of Ohio. Teenage life with all of you was such a blast. So many great memories, so much fun. What a great class we had, as well as '76 and '78. I laugh just thinking of all the crazy times we had. My mom tells me I hung out with a wild group of kids. Can you believe that? Maybe it was Keith Waggoner's tennis shoes hanging in the branches of the tree in our front yard, who knows. The 77 "Rowdies" were a nice group of kids, don't you agree? If you're reading this, you might be one of them. I do sincerely enjoy reading these profiles and I look forward to the next reunion.
As for present day life, I live in Southern CA in a small, seaside art community not much bigger than Sheffield Lake. Not sure how I ended up here, but I like it very much. nd I really enjoy my work. Simplified, this means I bring a big mess into lovely homes to paint decorative accents, murals and specialty finishes.
I am single with 10 wonderful nieces and nephews in 3 different states. For that reason I do a lot of traveling. For those of you who know my siblings, Jay (Chip) is married and lives in Baton Rouge. He has two stepsons and a tiny daughter who they adopted from China and another soon to be home with them. Tom is married with four children and living in Florida. He has three teenagers and one son yet in Jr. High School. Denise is married and lives in New Jersey with her husband and 9 year old twins (boy/girl). Phyllis and Clint are in New Jersey as well and are happily Grandma and Grandpa to all 10 of their grandchildren and get around with their 30 foot motorhome for visits. Dad's dream come true. Mom is a cancer survivor and we praise God for that.
I wish you all the very best, keep the Faith.
