Vicki 's Story
San Luis Obispo has been my home since 1972 when I moved here to attend Cuesta College and then Cal Poly. It is a beautiful place to live and still has a small town feel about it. My husband, Howard, is a third generation San Luis Obispan so we have relatives and long time friends here. I even have my nephews Chad Taber and Patrick Kirby living in San Luis Obispo!

ly directing an international Rhone wine organization, called Hospice du Rhone (Home of the Rhone), which is held annually at the Paso Robles Event Center (aka fairgrounds).
Mariposa will always be home though and we do visit there often. My brother Jim and nephew Brent live in Mariposa. Jim is engaged to Isabel Reese. Mom and Dad have both passed away but we still have our family home on Usona Road and I am thankful for that.
The Class of 1970 will have a big reunion coming up in 2010 and I am looking forward to that.
