Vicky's Story
Life
Almost the close of 2007. Not really sorry to see it go.
I am working for an elderly lady in Washington. Dale is still working for Shoff's. The owner Stanley passed away this fall. Dale also lost an Uncle.
We adopted a cat at the beginning of the year. We drove several miles to get him. He weighs 16 lbs even on a diet. Wanted a short hair cat but when we got there he is medium hair. We have since given him to some friends because of him shedding. I was getting new furniture and I new I couldn't handle that.
We had Christmas at our house this year. We had 42 over for a sit down dinner. My eldest son is a chef, he was in charge of the menu. It was a real success.

Update May 19, 2008: I took another job working for my nephew. I am really going full circle, doing work I did during my teen years. I am still taking care of Vera, and I go to a Senior Citizen Home and do pedicures.
It is just about time to be out. My youngest grandaughter will finish kindergarden and she just turned five on March 9th. She did very well. The youngest grandson is still trying to decide how much longer he is going to wear diapers.
I would like to ask anyone who reads this to pray for our youngest son. He has had diabetes for 13 years and things aren't getting better. Dale's brother Joe passed away at 28 with complications from diabetes.
