Vicky's Story
I was so happy to graduate in 1989!! I don't remember much from school-so all that tells me is it wasn't good times. I am thankful that I went through the cosmetology program since it helped me out in my life!
I moved to Clarksville, TN with Scott Smith-it didn't work out for us, but I decided to stay and live my life.
I am glad I did! I grew up a lot-did stuff I never experienced before & just loved life!! I would never change my experiences in Clarksville, TN EVER!!
I met my husband in Clarksville, TN-we dated on & off & he ended up getting out of the military and moving back to Salt Lake City, Utah.
After about a year of being apart he came back to TN and asked me to move to SLC-I did!
We lived together for a few months when Vince (my husband) decided he wanted to go back into the military.
So since he changed MOS's he had to go to school-so he did-and I stayed with his family in SLC.
After he was done with school we decided to get married-April 14, 1993.
We moved to Killeen, TX and I worked at MasterCuts-and got pregnant.
Our son was born November 15, 1994-and I stayed home and took care of him.
Our son & I moved back to SLC while Vi...Expand for more
nce shut down a shop in Killeen, TX.
Once he was finished with closing down the shop we moved to Tampa, FL.
We lived there for 3 short years-I worked at Albertsons for a little while and took care of Donavan.
Then we moved to Fayetteville, NC-I didn't enjoy my stay there much-Donavan did go to a good preschool and elementary school-and I met a real good friend there-I worked at a print & label company.
Once again it was time to move. We moved to Okinawa, Japan. Our experience there was wonderful.
I didn't work-I was a full time student. We were only there for 2 1/2 years when it was time to go.
We ended up in Yuma, AZ! Let me tell ya adjusting was difficult! Arizona is a dry heat and Okinawa is humid-it was crazy!!
Anyway we made it through 3 years-I completed my degree-I graduated May 16, 2008 with my Associates in Applied Science with Radiologic Technology! It was a great day that I will never forget!
So that leads to now...
We are back in Okinawa, Japan-don't know for how long this time-since my husband will have 20 years in the military in November-so he can retire if he wishes.
So that is all for now...we will see what happens next!!
