Vickie's Story
I grew up in Southern California, back in the days when Knott's Berry Farm was free.
I have been with the same man for over 20 years now. He is retired from the Navy after 30 yrs.
I have four adult children, all married now and I have six grandchildren (4 girls and 2 boys). My oldest son just finished MTI school in San Antonio TX, so I am very proud.
We settled here in Hot Springs, Arkansas...and the rest is history!~~~~
I would like to find my old school friend Janice Peterson (Sanchez). We lost contact in the 1970's during my barefoot and pregnant days. She was my best friend and I sure would like to see her again someday. We grew up in Buena Park, California...My most vivid memory is this one time when she rescued me in the girls bathroom when some mean girls were dunking my then long blonde ponytail in the toilet, (not a moment t...Expand for more
hat I am proud of...lol). But after that, she became my best friend. Her nickname was the "Big Swed" and she lived up to that name. She married out of high school to a guy named Ralph Sanchez. I think she had 2 daughters?? He became a Buddist. I basically came to classmates.com hoping maybe I could find her here, but no luck as yet...so if anyone knows of her...drop me a line anytime.As of 1 week ago I did find my friend Janice and have had many long talks on the phone and are planning a reunion. So this is a very good year. And i just learned Janice's sister doris is on class mates so am looking forward to connecting w/ her soon.I lost my only sister Marie on june 15th 2009......sad day. we were close and every time I would tell her i found someone on class mates she said she wanted to find some folks as well but i will never know now.
