Vicky's Story
Hi Guys,
Long time no see! Our family is living in Memphis via Hurricane Katrina. My oldest daughter still lives in New Orleans and teaches vocal music.
I'm working as a school librarian in Memphis City Schools. My hubby is partially disabled, so he's currently Mr. Mom. He was a children's pastor in Chalmette, LA before Katrina.
We lost almost everything in the storm, but we evacuated, so we were ok. I have an aunt in Memphis, so that's how we ended up here. It works out fine since we are about half way between Michigan and New Orleans.

p.s. If anyone from Livingston Middle School (New Orleans) reads this, I want to say hi to the "Library Posse." I was looking forward to the 2005-2006 school year. I had promised to open the library on Monday, August 29. When I left that Friday, I had no idea that we would not be returning. I have looked for a way to say I miss you guys, and now I can.
