Vicky's Story
Life has been an interesting journey.
I'm still a full time wife and mother. Mother of one. Not doing anything too exciting now that I'm not running off to some doctor every other week or so. I mostly spend the days reading, working on some small project, or working on my genealogy.
Diagnosed with cancer in February 2007 and survived the chemotherapy. That's some nasty stuff! Now just taking life one day at a time and praying that I get some decent hair back, although it looks like God is going to have some fun with me and leave me with this funky-looking "do." Being totally bald was way cooler!
Almost three years now and I still have funky hair and no eyebrows. And I still think I looked better bald!
If I won $100 million, I'd give one tenth of it to God, then spend the rest on parents, other family members and ME!.
In 10 years, I hope to be ALIVE!. I'm going to get there by breathing.
My first job was at Sears, where I got paid diddly to clean up after messy customers. What I remember most about it is my boss would call me Debbie.

inger when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a silly idea. As it turns out, they were right.
I used to rant and rave, now I just rant! :)
If I'm going to work somewhere, I need to have Quiet surroundings, no boss hanging over me, and be left alone to be able to deal with the day-to-day.
Anyone who has gone through chemotherapy, especially children. They have so much inner strength even when suffering.
My #1 obsession is genealogy. I'm trying to connect myself to everyone! It's totaly fun!
My best friend would tell you I'm shy, very quiet and reserved, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as a snob and stand-offish.
Omygosh! I wish I could dress like I did 10 or 20 years ago! All those slim clothes!
That they will always surprise you!
Never lived in a dorm, but shared an apartment in student housing and had five room mates. It was a learning and growing experience, one I would not trade for anything! I had 99% great roomies and I hope they are out there having a super, wonderful life!
No trophies, just a lot of dolls.
