Victor's Story
Life
No kids to worry about, just travel, writing & photography keep me busy. I enjoy going to London for dinner and a play. My latest photo shoot was for a childrens cookbook which was published in 2007 and I'm writing another childrens book. I don't want to give too much away on the book. The cookbook is out for Christmas 2007.
We travel frequently to Norway to see two of our three grandchildren. They inspire me to write the childrens books and are the biggest joy of my life, besides my wife.
I'm also governor of the local primary school which takes some of my time. I am church warden at St. Andrew's Church.
Last October we spent a week in Lanzarote which is part of the Canary Islands and is volcanic in nature.
We went to Germany and France for the Christmas markets. We spent a glorious week in Crete besides our visit to Norway. We took our grandkids to Disney Paris this October and our cruise down the Nile in November 2008. We're also planning to travel to Christmas 2008 markets in Belgium. We also have reservations to go to Venice again, March this time.
For our birthdays we went on a two week cruise of eastern Med. including Istanbul and Malta in 2011.

hts we meet our friends at the pub for talk and a pint. That's village life. I dreamed I would visit Europe, never dreamed I would get to live here. This is the fourth country I've lived outside the U.S.

Just had an anniversary and we decided to celebrate by going on a cruise in the Mediterrean. We had a wonderful time and would suggest it to anyone.
Just enjoyed the German Christmas markets with all the food and beer. Our big trip for 2009 was our cruise around the Med, we seen Sicily, Aix, France, Barcelona, Spain and Italy with Pompeii being my highlight.
For 2010, we are headed off to the Costa del Sol on the Med Malaga, Spain. Spain was great, we enjoyed it very much, again. Also, did some skiing in Norway. Oslo was a bit cold.
I've given up governorship at the school and taken on the position of Warden in the Church of England. That is keeping me busy.
We'll see what 2011 brings. I'm thinking another cruise.
Another cruise it was, we cruised the eastern med to Greek, Turkey, even Istanbul and Malta. Then cruised again .
