Victor's Story
Victor is from Scotland, South Dakota. His schools include Scotland High School. He later attended University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas. He works(ed) at Hendrick Medical Center.
Victor's interests include University of Texas Longhorns, Dallas Cowboys, Dallas Mavericks, Albert Pujols, Sidney Crosby, Brett Favre. Dr. Hirsch is a Board Certified internist with a subspecialty Board Certification in Medical Oncology. He is well known in the Abilene area, where he has rendered cancer and hematological care to patients in its local hospitals and the surrounding communities since 1982. h Program. He is a Fellow in the American College of Physicians (FACP). He earned his Master of Science in Medical Management at The University of Texas -- Dallas School of Business in 2001 and obtained his Board Certification in Palliative Care in 2008. He is currently helping to start the Palliative Care program at Hendrick Medical Center, being the first physician in the area to become credentialed in Palliative Medicine at Hendrick Medical Center. He has a passion for care of the elderly and has begun expanding his knowledge in Geriatric Medicine and Long Term Nursing Facility care. He recently became a medical director for one of the Nursing Facilities in the Abilene Area. He has been married to his wife Sherry for 42 years. His son John has a Master of Science in Sports Physiology and his Daughter Samantha Goodman recently started her Internal Medicine practice at Hendrick Medical Center with the Hendrick Provider Network. He has 2 wonderful grandchildren, Kiley Jo Hirsch, born January 8th, 2010; and Easton Dean Goodman, born December 7.
