Vince's Story
I graduated NPHS in 1977 and then went to Washington and Lee University where I graduated in 1981 and took a commission as a 2LT in the Army with a specialty in telecommunications. My first tour was in the 39th Signal Battalion in Giessen Germany where I worked with NATO forces.
I left Germany and went to Fort Bragg, NC where I commanded a company and had various staff assignments and learned to jump out of perfectly good airplanes and like it.
After that I was assigned to Karup, Denmark to work at a NATO headquarters. I learned to really love Denmark and still speak passable Danish. I got out of the Army in 1993 and went to work for several telecom...Expand for more

After 9/11 I was recalled to active duty as an Intelligence Analyst and found I really enjoyed that. Almost simultaneously I met my second wife to be and we conducted a successful long distance relationship from NJ to VA. My biggest success was getting an award from FBI Director Mueller in 2005.
I have recently moved to Charlottesville, VA and work as a Division Chief at the National Ground Intelligence Center for the Department of the Army.
