Its been a long time....1942 I worked on the uss New Jersey...Joined the us air force in nov..42...Flew to England in
Dec 43 in a B24 Bomber...Flew and bombed targets in Germany ...Shot down on my 14th mission the day after my21st birthday..Spent the next 13 months in Stalag 17 (no not the movie) I was in the original cast..Was liberated by General Patton...We were Flown to Reims France and watched the signing of the peace treety with Germany...Was se...Expand for more
nt home on a Liberty ship and watched grown men cry as we passed the Statua of liberty...Was sent home after 30 days of recoup....THE REST IS HISTORY...Had a record shop on Kensington ave for 12 years..Then with Sears and Roebuck for ten years....Now living in Villas N J.with a POW chapter for the past 17 yearr
