Wellllll, After high school,I played music and went to West LA College for two years. That summer I spent two and a half months in Europe traveling mostly in Italy and Holland. The next summer while taking some classes at UCLA, and I got involved with horses. I bought my first horse in '72. At the time I had a wholesale produce business so I would get up at 2 am to go to work then spend the evening playing with my horse and taking orders for the next day. One day I was cleaning my horses feed bin and all of a sudden this flake of hay was headed toward me. There was this girl that fed the horses that wasn't a very good shot,so I figured I should teach her how to throw hay and less than a year later we got married.
