Vincent's Story

Life I never stop moving, doing, creating, and changing. The culinary field is where I belong, constant movement and changes, the status quo is not my thing. Let's rock the boat and see what works best. I'm not exactly an artist but I do like creating things, especially with food. I'm on my second marriage and have 2 wonderful kids from the first. Our children are our legacy, the only things that matter in the end. School From Glendale, CA to New Bern, NC, I've enjoyed all the schools I've been to. May 2007 I've graduated from college AAS in Culinary Arts. College I didn't rush off to college after high school, instead I ran off to the military. None the less I've managed college here and there and finished with an AAS in Culinary Arts. I plan on returning to school for a BA in spring of 2011. Workplace After the military I worked for Almost 3 years managing customer service for an executive office space leasing company in Buffalo, NY. It was enjoyable and the staff was great. After an externship with a local family steakhouse and graduation from college, I was a kitchen supervisor with Delaware North company at Top of the Falls restaurant, Niagara Falls. I quickly moved to Kitchen Manager at another Delaware North property where I spent 3 years managing and cooking. Summer 2010 finds me unemployed by choice with an offer to teach food preparation at my alma-mater, NCCC. Military From 1982 to 2002 I served many different functions for the Army. Primarily, I was "on tanks". Armor Crewman, Tank Commander, Platoon Sergeant. I was happy to retire when I did, I hope I helped people in the army.
