Vincent Sheridan:  

ending the last 5 years as the LV Service Manager. I came to Wichita Kansas to be the Service Manager for Foley Equipment, the Caterpillar equipment dealer in S/SW Kansas. After doing that for a year and a half, I went into Warranty & Technical Services where I build service systems, databases and oversee the service operations. In 2007, I went to work with Komatsu as a Factory Service Representative and since 2011, I call on the Mining National Accounts which has allowed me to travel extensively throughout North America. I miss the desert and mountains along with the simpler times of youth every now and then but consider my life blessed. Coolness and then some! I had a daughter when I was young that I found out later in life was put up for closed adoption. She was not from an affair, disingenuous activities or anything like that. My wife and I had spent the last 37 years trying different ways to find this young lady with zero success. With each year that passed, the odds fell further but our hope stayed strong. Because of the manner she was adopted, I learned her given name was changed and pretty much every record that I had for my search (including the hospital) was inaccurate. Through the miracle of God, she was looking for me as well. We connected at 11:30 p.m. on Friday, February 28th, 2020. We talked late into the night and then made plans to meet for the first time Sunday. We saw each other Sunday and I got to see this beautiful mother of 4 (with a bonus child!) with my features, mannerisms and characteristics. I cannot describe the range of emotions that I have been on but I can tell you it is the most different high I’ve ever experienced. The word, “surreal” hardly does it justice. I just wanted to share this and say miracles can happen. PS - Now I’m a Grandpa of ten, soon to be twelve, totally cool.
