Viola's Story

Hi, I was born on October 19, 1945 at Fort Totten which is a Indian Reseration in North Dakota. My Mom died when I was two. My Dad could not support nine of us kids so he brought to St. Michaels Mission where I was raised by the nuns and priests, All in all I would say I had a pretty happy childhood. I than went to a boarding school in So. Dak. At the end of my senior year I met a wouldful family Who I babysit for the summer. I met my first husband Nick He got his Masters Degree st SDSU. He was in ROTC so when he went to serve his time he was a Captian, We had two boys named Jon and Jim. we were stationed at Fort Sam Houston. We enjoyed our time when we were there.From there we moved to Minneapolis whe he was enrolled at the the U of M in Verteriary medicine. He die a month before he was to graduate. So that how I came to live in Mpls. I was by myself with two kids ages three and six with no family suppport. I was a widow for six years. Than I met my second husband in 1979. he is a good man and takes very good care of me..I went to Nusning when my husband was stationed in San Antonio.. My oldest boy got is PhD in Archogical Anthropical Degree he now working at Lansing State as a professor. My other son has a good job in the ...Expand for more
cities. I had four major surgerys last year one was a lung transplant. I am doing fine now. Thanks for asking. So thats my story for now. If anything comes up I will keep you posted. I always wanted to be a Nurse when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a fine idea. As it turns out, they were right. I get it off my chest and then I am over it. The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is Nick Norder, because I just would love to see him again. I just love little dogs. My husband bought me a little Jack Russel Terrier The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is linda johnson, because I miss her so much. My best friend would tell you I'm sweet, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as a snob.. My husband said I sould dress more apporate for my age I share my home with my son, which I find very comfortable. Her name is Linda. She for for my parents in their cafe. We clicked because we are alike in many ways My first job was at Nursing assistant , where I got paid 2.50 to take care of ederly people. What I remember most about it is was very rewarding. My dad picking my sister and I on Sundays And haveing a bag of chips and candy bar in the glove compartment
