Violet's Story
What can I say about myself. Well I just happened to be thinking about my childhood and thought I wonder how I could say hello or not to some old childhood acquaintances. My life was pretty complicated then thus the reason for my disappearing and re-appearing acts at Indian Knoll. Out of the twelve different elementary schools I went to up to sixth grade my favorite and most memorable was Indian Knoll. West Chicago was home for me and Indian Knoll created the possibility for me to have some of the best times ever. I should also mention some of the most humiliating too. I experienced frequent racism from some of the kids there but kids can be the meanest little people around. usic teacher who inspired me to sing...I just can't remember her name. I have to say that these amazing people helped form my character for the best. A part of who I am today is because of them. So thank you....if your still out there. As for friends I really didn't have many maybe two or three at most. You know at that age you want to believe that everyone is your friend but they really are only acquaintances. My best friend was Lisa Gronier. I think I shared intimate details of my horrid life with her then. But other than her there was no one. I hope everyone I had the pleasure of meeting then is doing well and is still around. I just wanted to say hello and I am doing the best I ever have. I have a wonderful husband and four amazing kids. I live In South Texas and have my own business. Life is good.
